From high-profile museums to community-based artists, Tana Hargest serves her clients and collaborators as an experienced cultural producer and accomplished nonprofit leader. Tana has over eighteen years of experience providing strategic guidance and practical implementation plans for individual artists and arts organizations. She's delivered a wide range of digital, arts and education programs for creative and learning communities in New York, Boston, and Providence. After years working on the East Coast, Tana is back in her hometown of Minneapolis, working to create art and action at the nexus of social justice and transformation. Current projects include:
- Evaluation: Hargest is working with Forecast Public Art to conduct evaluation as they develop and pilot a Public Art and Placemaking Tool for City Planners, made possible through the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts Our Town program and Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.
- Fund Development Coaching: working with TU Dance on the development of a giving circle and a series of fund and audience development gatherings, as part of the Raise MN pilot program, a Give MN initiative.
- Sponsorship Development: helping Giant Steps develop sponsorships and partnerships for the 8th annual conference for creative entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial creatives.
- Communications Planning: consulting with Nexus Community Partners on the development and evolution of its print and digital communications.
